What I do

I make music, and help others to make music. This might entail producing an album or EP for a singer/songwriter like Randy Burns, Black Fly Reviews or Dan Morrisey; or writing songs with seasoned pros like Mark Edwards and Billy Lee in Nashville or Simon Kirke and Mary Beth Stone in New York City. Quite often, it simply means sitting down and teaching kids and adults how to sing and/or play guitar or keyboard (and lately even bass or ukelele!) Next summer, I’m going to be a part of the Bandwriting Collective music camp in Manhattan.  It is an amazing program, please check out the website and contact me if you have any questions at [email protected].

My work centers around my studio on 3rd Street in Manhattan, but I do live freelance gigs with groups all over the tri-state area of New York, New Jersey and Connecticut. Travel is not always necessary for me, however, I can send top-quality sound files for studio projects anywhere, anytime by email or Dropbox.

One of the great things about our world today is how easy it is to connect. I look forward to hearing from you about your reactions to my work and about your own work. And who knows, we might even be able to make some music together one of these days!
