Songwriting

Songwriting has always been a huge part of Rob’s artistic life. From “Savannah,” the lead single from his latest album “Halfway Home,” to “Warm Gulf Water,” a recent cut co-written with rock legend Simon Kirke, Rob brings together country, folk and rock in a unique memorable way. Simon’s new album “All Because of You” also includes “Trouble Road” and “Wind and Rain,”  songs co-written by Rob and Simon along with Nashville writers  Mark E. Barnowski and Judy Klass. Rob continues to write regularly, and is currently teaching songwriting with the Bandwriting Collective, a well-regarded New York organization based in Midtown Manhattan.
